Dr. Ashley Hunt-Poole is the wife of Robert Poole, mother of two children (Jeremy and Elaina) a graduate of Alabama A&M, and also a proud graduate of the Virginia University of Lynchburg. Dr. Hunt-Poole wears many hats she is the CEO of Mocktails for Mommy, President, and Founder of Mommy & Me Organization, and Editor-in-Chief of Mompreneur Magazine. Dr.Poole is a Proud Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc and serves on a variety of committees and volunteers in her community regularly.
Through her nonprofit, Mommy & Me Organization, Dr. Hunt-Poole has taken the vow to, support, encourage, and uplift the Single Parents in her community. She knows firsthand what it's like to be a single mother and often thinks back to her struggles as a single mother at Alabama A&M University. Through Mommy & Me Dr. Hunt-Poole provides safe-kid-friendly events and offers basic life resources and educational classes. She has implemented the baby box program that allows parents to have access to basic baby essential needs. Mommy & Me also awards two scholarships per year to a single parent with a desire to pursue educational advancement.
Mommy & Me organization has partnered up with many businesses and organizations including Walmart, NAACP, Lift our Vote, Black Wall Street, and Downtown Rescue Mission and that’s just to name a few.
The goal of Mommy & Me is to continuously build the bridge between Resources and single parents and to let them know they have the support that she never had access to.
